We are currently fundraising for:

Black Girls Convention – A celebration of success, sharing of challenges, an inspiring panel discussion, breakout workshops and a safe personal development space for women of colour in the South West

OJiJi Purple is a Social Enterprise – not for profit. The project is has received some funding towards developing our online platform and launching our first campaign in the lead up to our first event the ‘Black Girls Convention’ with support from Esmee Fairbain.

We aspire to be self-sustaining –
the project currently operates as follows:

  • Get Togethers – No/low cost activities led by OJiJi Purple and associates funded by members, supporters, sponsors and grants.
  • Leadership Programme and Black Girls Convention – Annual events funded by event sponsors, supporter donations and grant awards.
  • Little Black Book of events – Funded by advertising
  • Campaigns – Funded by merchandise sales
